Maybe y’all should look a bit closer

-she’s a GOOD friend to both ROBERT and DAMIEN (and damien’s transition since childhood) and cares about them both even MORESO than herself. She values growth, hence why she probably fumbles at early childhood things but is a much better older parent.

-She tells you the player to be Good to Damien/Robert. Giving you hints on a successful relationship, she doesn’t want you to fail.

-despite Joseph cheating she still Likes Robert that they’re drinking buddies. (also Joseph cheats on her AGAIN anyway) 

-She doesn’t sleep with the boys she hits on ever. If anything it’s her own way of teaching dudes not to pull the same sleaze tactics her husband did.

-she isn’t fake like the other church moms, but she still makes an attempt at being a member of the community. (was very much into the quality of the bake sale)

-Her marriage is unhappy but there’s no obvious signs she is a terrible mother. Neglect is a pretty harsh word when her kids were not in any danger (friendly BBQ) and the shining Dvd accident was hardly a bill against her. Plenty of people watched scary movies as kids and both her and Joseph found it funny. Her suggestions and guidance to Amanda says she’s quite good at parenting and doesnt hover or helicopter parent them which can have the adverse effect.

-If anything JOSEPH WASNT WATCHING THE TWINS IN THE WOODs. he let them run off and mutilate a stuffed animal??? But sure she must be satan for not watching their toddler in a yard surrounded by good ppl.
