I always felt Mr Freeze was such an enigmatic villain, which was the reason I felt I couldn’t leave him out of the DC Batman Series. Having always imagined his suit being most iconic in the DC Batman Animated Series, I made my Yarnling around that image:

So I figured as a finishing touch, to include his head ‘globe’, which is part of his breathing apparatus. I rummaged through my sister’s old Kinder Bueno’s chocolate eggs - you know the kind with the plastic egg with a small toy inside. Nope, no can do - the newer ones were all opaque! Bummer.

Ta-da! I managed to find a plastic cap-head! I know his head looks squished in but it’s the best I could do, considering I was trying to recycle old materials.

Water repellent spray! My husband got it to spray on my little one’s UGG boots to make them waterproof. And I hijacked it for my own nefarious purposes 😂.

After I made his slightly smaller head... I was like this fits just nice (sort of) - his head was supposed to be a lot smaller than his ‘globe’ cap, but you know, I was recycling. 😬

Of course, I added in his Freeze gun and gas canister. To make my final Cool, Cruel Mr Freeze!

Omg... I’m a super huge fan of the old Batman series from the 1960s... You know, the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin, against the Crown Prince of Crime, Joker. Even the Catwoman and Riddler versions were... less complex. If you don’t remember, this might jog your memory:

I know there are many versions of Joker, so actually I could not quite decide which was the most authentic one. So I decided I was going for this Joker look: 

As you can see, making his hair was a nightmare. I was trying to re-create his “triangular” head. Tried to make ends point up, tried to make the ends point down. Not sure if I got it right in the end, but coupled with the sharp pointy chin, distinctive colour palette and white face - I’m sure he vaguely looks like the Joker.

What do you think? Can pass off as the Crown Price of Crime?
