Hello! Ahh that’s so exciting! This is a question I asked a ton of upperclassmen before applying, and every time I asked the answer was always: YES!
The instructors do enjoy seeing what you do on your own free time outside of school assignments. For me, since I want to do character design, I added a bunch of my own designs to my portfolio. But make sure to get some critiques from upperclassmen so they can advise you if certain designs aren’t strong enough~ And if you decide that you don’t necessarily want to put your own designs in, if you have any strong sketchbook pages from outside of class, include those! :D
If you need any extra help, be sure to drop by the portfolio peer review that SHM will hold later in the semester. I’m planning on attending (if it’s not during 114) and can look over your work! :D Good luck!! :D

Okay so this was a bit hard because I don’t know the Hogwarts houses that well (never read the books oops).
I would say that despite Ronnie being mischievous and cunning, she would belong in Hufflepuff because she is extremely loyal. Loyalty is the driving factor behind all of her decisions. And yeah it sometimes gets her in trouble because she follows her gut instead of following logic, but she will do everything that she thinks is right for her loved ones.
