I am much less overwhelmed by our household chaos now that I have realized that I am 1/3 of the way through raising our kid, and that we are probably at peak kid clutter right now.

My lizard brain apparently thought since husband’s clutter has been a problem for 20 years and roommate’s clutter has been a problem for 10 I would be stuck with daughter’s clutter for decades too. Realizing that in another 6 years she won’t want half of the toys she currently owns was very reassuring.
