Today's jobs involved adjusting a shower to reach a colder temperature than hot. Easy enough, spent most time chatting with the landlady about life while I worked. Half hour later she's asking me to look at a toilet, at her own house, with a very strange problem. Big house, 4 toilets, one that is unused, water goes dark brown in a matter of days without being used. Mains checked, pan checked, cistern checked. Toilet few years old but very clean, like the rest of the house. No idea! They used cistern cleaning tablets after finding problem so I cleaned that all out and told them to take photos everyday. Didn't ask for payment but they added extra to previous jobs total. Great customers 👍
