seeing the 50th in the theater was really lovely because everyone cheered and laughed and clapped and REACTED and it was just gorgeous
and every. single. person in our theater kept their butts in their chairs and watched the behind the scenes after the credits
there were five or six screenings and idk about the others but ours was PACKED FULL we got there like four hours early and it's a good thing because we wouldn't have gotten good seats if we'd turned up later
and i got shouted at by a few other Claras (there was a really lovely barmaid!Clara who yelled "hi Clara!" and waved as i was coming down the escalator and a BOSJ Clara who yelled to me in the theater) and there were all kinds of cosplays (there was a FAB Idris and a really good-looking Four right in front of us and a Ten i only saw from a ways away but who was also rather good-looking and a VATD!Amy who took my pic in line and a Five we saw as we were leaving) and sonics and scarves galore
and there were old people and young kids and everything in between
and i got to briefly meet someone i mutually follow (hi Amanda, sorry we didn't get to talk longer!)
and idk man it was just a really lovely experience and i'm glad i got to be a part of it
