my sleep schedule is so...normal now. it's gonna be helpful when i get a job, but right now it is so not cool.
i mean i was in bed at like 8 last night, and around 10 most other nights. and i've been waking up 5-8am for the past week. i don't know how this happened.
Get fit for free on Saturday at the Luxembourg Garden
It's often difficult to find the time and the place to work out when you're traveling. Run in the City is a free program that takes place every Saturday morning at the Luxembourg Garden. So you get a 1 hour group session exercise with a coach AND get to discover one of Paris' most beautiful park.
Do note that Run in the City is not intended as a tourist activity therefore the coach and most of the participants will be locals and speaking French.

Welcome to the Paris Shore!
The 10th edition of Paris Plages (Beach Paris) kicked off this morning (Thursday July 21st) under gloomy skies.
Five thousand tons of sand, 10 times more than for the previous edition, where ferried in from Northern France to create the illusion of a real sandy shore (complete with potted palm trees and hundreds of beach mats) on what is usually a busy expressway on the river Seine's bank.
It's been cloudy and rainy the past week in Paris but that didn't deter Parisians and tourists alike to come checkout the kilometer-long sandy beach that streches from the Louvre's Tuileries Garden up to the Ile St Louis.
To celebrate Paris Plages anniversary, Disneyland Paris is building a 6-meter high sand replica of Sleeping Beauty's castle. Carvers from France, Italy and Russia have been hard at work for 3 days and expect to put the final touch on Saturday.
Many activities (all free) are available to visitors including pétanque (boules) games, dance classes, concerts and tai-chi by the City Hall (Metro: Hotel de Ville).
At the second site by le bassin de la Villette, kayaks and pedal boats are available and kids can even try out surking on a wave simulator.
Paris Plages runs from July 21 to August 21 and is open daily from 9am to midnight. The sunny weather is expected to return next Tuesday.

Street fair rue St Placide
White tents are lining the rue St Placide this week for the annual street fair. There are lot's of food delicacies to taste from the local shops. Don't miss it! Rue St Placide is only 2 blocks away from Studio Rive Gauche.
