!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | dawon is, in essence, a bundle of never-ending energy. it’s like she doesn’t has a turn off to her enthusiasm. she’s known for being usually cheerful, if not always, and knows exactly how to turn a mistake into a thing to be happy about or laughed at. because of it she tends to come off as rather childish, but all the members can agree that sometimes, the only thing that keeps the group going is dawon and her obnoxious vitality.

𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜. | dawon is programmed to think that one should never feel hopeless, because difficult times always lead to better days. no matter how difficult or unpleasant the situation might be, she’ll always look at the bright side, firmly believing everything will look up eventually. she’s a very positive person and pushes that agenda onto the people surrounding her as well.

𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙞’𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝟭𝟮𝟬%. | you’ll never meet someone as passionate and hard-working as dawon is. once there’s a goal, you can rest assured because dawon will not stop untill she has fully achieved it by any means necessary. she’s someone who gives her all even while doing insignificant little tasks just because she refuses to half-ass and hinder anyone while she’s at it. mediocrity and quitting are not concepts she’s familiar with.

𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙢𝙚? | however, there’s a fine line between being dilligent and being stubborn, and with dawon, that line is blurry more often than not. she’s the type of person that once she’s acquired certain mindset, she’s not easily detered from it, and it can be both her best quality and her greatest flaw. she really ought to learn when things are too much for her to handle.

𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙣 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧. | upon first glance, many tend to question why someone like dawon is the leader, but once you start looking into it, it becomes really obvious. despite her air-headed tendencies, dawon is a very perceptive person. she can perfectly differentiate when is the time to goof around and when not. she knows how their girls work and how to handle each one of them. she takes decisions not only based on what she deems best for the group, but she also weighs her members’ opinions and keeps them in mind all time. and with all of that, at the end of the day dawon still remains as the doting leader who’s always looking out for her members, encouraging them, and offering advice and comfort whenever they need it. yes, she might be a child at heart, but her group comes first and foremost, and she certainly knows how to balance between being a leader and the group’s happy pill!

within palette, dawon’s designated color is orange.

dawon is the members with the longest training period, having trained for around 8 years.

in their current dorms, dawon rooms with ella and hyojung, and their room is called by the youngests as the “hag dorm”.

because of her great humor and reactions, dawon is the members who’s often invited either as a host or guest for variety shows.

dawon is an open book and a natural schmoozer. thanks to her gregarious and extroverted nature, she’s very easy to approach

she’s often noted by her excellent social skills, being able to befriend practically anyone in the spot and having a knack for making people around her comfortable with her silly antics

she enjoys spending time with people who are just as high-energy and positive as she is! dawon also has an habit of looking out for younger ones, so she’s viewed by rookies as a sisterly figure ( or a cool moom, how many like to nickname her )

it’s clear to see dawon holds taeil to a particular high regard, and so does he. out of nct, she’s closest to taeil and it shows because of how comfortable they are around each other

they’ve known each other since trainee days. because both of them were the same age, naturally they fell together and spent a lot of time around one another

when they’re together both of their mental ages drops to 5. don’t let them fool you! dawon brings out taeil’s inner child and dawon being dawon, well, they can be quite playful. they think of each other as the funniest persons to ever walk earth

dawon cherishes jisoo and her friendship endlessly, everyone knows at least that much. sharing similar traits and their peculiar sense of humor, jiso and dawon get along just fine and there’s never a dull moment with these two in the same room

they met through backstage on music shows and inmediatly hitted off. they ride in the same wavelenght and have so many tastes in common so it was just matter of time untill they became friends

while they don’t get to hang out a lot because of their schedules, they’re always showing support to each other trough social media

with their groups being constantly associated, it was a given for them to interact. dawon and taeyong deeply relate to each other on the grounds of being both leaders, which has led them to become predictably close

they met during their trainee days. dawon was the first one to approach, because even if she wasn’t intimidated at all by him, taeyong admitted that her endless energy scared him at certain degree

they hang out once in a while for stress-relief purposes and seek advice with one another

talk about platonic soulmates! eva and dawon literally share one braincell and half of the time they’re not even using it

they’ve been pretty tight since time ago because they’ve trained together for years and used to dreamt about debuting together and while it did not happen. they were happy for each other and remained as close as ever!
