Room 43: #Gravitational fields were recorded in Room 43 of the #RendonHotel, or at least that’s what a 1934 news clipping reported that #LA #artist + #thingmaker #DavidLovejoy @lalovejoyart sourced as the basis for his strikingly fantastical installation at #HiddenRooms. (SWIPE) The stunning, yet diabolical work involved otherwise stiff branches snaking out of walls and throughout the room, piercing chairs and anything else in its swirling path, bursting the once-meticulous #mathematical and scientific studies of this fictional scene. David even found a 45 record of the song “Room 43” to add to the staging.
