Currently at the drawing board for something I canāt show yet, but in the spirit of self-reflection during the end of the year, hereās a quick shot of the progress made for 2024 in my accordion sketchbook. Iāll take some of my favorites and focus in for detail later on, but itās been so gratifying to see the difference between this year and the handful of faces drawn in 2023 (swipe to the second picture).

Thereās been a LOT happening in my neck of the woods as far as life updates go, some things ever so wonderful, some things requiring substantial perseverance. So art and updates have been, and will continue to be, a bit slow-going as āit all gets figured outā¢ļøā for now.
Which means Iām all the more excited to share new finished projects with yāall!
Last summer, I had the honor of having this piece exhibited in a group show in Hartlepool, UK, during the Northern Illustration Festival, which thematically coincided with the Tall Ships Races event, for where Hartlepool was a participating destination! It was very exciting and surreal to be apart of these events in even such a small way (internationally! šµ), and was quite inspired by the other artistsā work I got to share the space with.
This piece will be available to order as prints later this week (Iāll throw the bat signal up when itās ready!).
