Reasons why I try my best to keep high-res documentation of all my traditional work. A client had been asking about my portrait sketches and a commission was born out of that conversation. The framer they worked with did such a phenomenal job. I was so delighted to receive these photos as they prepare to hang it in their home. To have my work hanging in a gallery is undeniably incredible, but to have it displayed so prominently in someone’s private residence brings such a humbling sense of gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Going to say it till I’m blue in the face—to everyone who’s supported and supports my work, whether it’s through buying, or sending an encouraging word, or even just talking about it: I can’t even begin to explain what it means to me. Thank you🙏✍️

Got to work on some real fun things this year that naturally can’t share online yet, so there’s not too much to show this time around. It stings, but I know that I’ve been also putting in work on both my mental wellness as well as not-fun-but-still-important tasks that desperately needed tending to (an encouraging reminder to back up all your files and images as you finish projects so you can find them easily 5+ years down the road 😩). It all takes time, and it’s all apart of the process. Looking forward to standing and carrying on over the stronger foundation I’ve been building.

Paths crossed in 2024. 🚎
One day, I’ll actually figure out how to properly document this accordion sketchbook… but for now, here’s a look at the 8 pages of quick portraits I’ve accumulated over the past year alone. (A contrast to the single page managed in 2023!)
