#dates from hell

Worst date of my LIFE last night. I can only blame myself.

The guy seemed really great, which helped ease the sting that the adventurous one was just a little TOO adventurous for me (there’s a certain point in your life when you need to stop hanging with people 20 years younger and partying every single night.)

Thursday, he sprung it on my that he’s been in recovery for about half a year and was in a sober living house. While that’s AWESOME for him, it’s not something you randomly throw out there. Also, if you’re in recovery, you’re not even supposed to date for a full year, and even then it’s not that smart. He also kept bringing up how high his libido was now that he’s off certain medications.

Still, I went in the date that HE asked ME out on.

He was so handsome. Tall, with glasses and salt and pepper hair. Brawny. Glasses. I thought, at 40, and in recovery and going to meetings 6 days a week, it would be worth a shot.

Dinner was delicious. Conversation was a bit weird, and he was on his phone (with notification sounds turned way up) the whole meal. And guess who had to pay for the food? 🙄 HOW DO YOU ASK ME OUT ON A DATE AND I END UP PAYING? He proceeded to tell me he had quit his job that week and didn’t have the heart to tell me. But he had the balls to wait to tell me when the rather large bill came?

I finally asked him to silence his phone. Instead, he grunted and powered it off.

We went and sat in the parking lot for a bit. It turned into him copping a feel, getting mad that I didn’t allow him to shove his tongue down my throat, and him sitting in silence for ten minutes. I reminded him that I wasn’t looking to rush into anything and he asked if a hand job was rushing. Uh, yeah bro. He then pulled some piece of clothing from the back seat and put it in his lap. I didn’t pay attention to what it was. I guess I assumed it was a jacket or something because he had the AC up pretty high. He kept conversation going, and after about two minutes, threw it back to the back seat. Then he goes, “Well is masturbation rushing?” I looked to him and to the back seat. He had legit jacked off into what I now saw was a maxi skirt. Then he looks at me and goes, “I don’t know where that came from but it must be from when I drove for Uber a year ago. How ready are you to be a Mom? I’d like to put a baby in you by the end of the year.”

I got in my car and left.

I woke up to my phone going off at 5am this morning, with a message from him that he was moving on since I wouldn’t give him what he wanted.

Good fucking grief! What a nightmare.

Guy Finds Out a Woman Is Just Dating Him for Free Meals... So He Ditches Her at the Restaurant with the Bill

This is some stone-cold revenge right here.

A guy on Reddit just posted a story about how he handled a situation when he found out a woman he’d been dating was just using him for free meals.

After a few dates, one of their mutual friends sent him a screenshot of some texts from the woman where she said she was just using the guy for free food.

And he says she wasn’t in a bad financial situation, because on their dates, quote, “She would wear pricey clothes and had two Chanel bags.”

So he took her to an expensive restaurant, they both ate and drank a lot, and then he said he had to go to the bathroom.  But . . . he LEFT.  Oh, and he was her ride too.

He says he started getting, quote, “furious texts” from her 45 minutes later saying she had to have her mom come to the restaurant to pay the bill, and they were done.

After his story started going viral, he said, quote, “Obviously what I did was not morally good and I should’ve been direct with her . . . [but] this wasn’t about doing the right thing or learning anything.”
