It is rather shocking to me that it has been eight years since I first started this story. Eight years! Wow.

I'm still not entirely sure why I stopped writing it, nor am I entirely certain why I picked it up again. But I have, and though not complete, it is certainly much further along than once it was.

These are two characters who I feel are immensely suited to a romance, provided you take out the minor complicating factor that one of them is canonically dead.

Inspired by a recipe from @dassandre-00qpidsarrow and @boffin1710′s saga Without Being Told. They were supposed to be Vanilla Bean Scones but the exchequer was rather lean and we’re still under shelter-at-home restrictions so they became vanilla-extract-from-the-pantry scones. 

 And a pic of a real life scone, which was very yummy. (And, yes, I’m aware that scones are traditional cut into triangles. I’m a lazy baker. Vaguely squarish shapes worked just fine, thank you very much.) 

To thank everyone who signed up for our minibang, we’ve decided to rec their work in these posts and also to help you to get to know them better. You see, besides old favourites, we’ve also got quite a few newcomers! (See all the spotlight posts here.)

We know that we’ve advertised the miniBang as “one last event before the movie” and now the premier’s moved to November, but the Bond fandom has no time to sigh!
