Tricky.

This is not an elf who enjoys dressing up; he'd rather be in a muddy field, knee-deep in heretics, than here with all the toadies and socialites.

But, alas. Ancano wanted to go, his own family ordered him to go, and someone from beyond Nirn kept prodding him with a digital pencil.

The five-jeweled patterns represent The Shadow, as do the exaggerated shoulders. The silk is rough and two-toned, cut for a swordsmer to move freely.

Unlike the sign suggests, Ntalym is no sneak-thief — he's 6'8" and as subtle as a sadistic neon giraffe. But in regards to personality? Oh yes.

Ancano: found himself something sharply tailored in velvet, because of course he did.

The Eye of Magnus (Ritual) needs no explanation. The choice of bright blue-green as a contrast-colour was a throwback to the artifact itself, suggesting arcane and chill magicka.

Also, this is the mer who is real quick on a certain infamous spell that sparks green -- witness 🤭

As usual I'm late, but it's #Thalmor Thursday in Dart-land, so I bring you two things. Below the cut is some (adorable cat-coded evil) cuteness between oc Nat and Ancano, but the tableau above...oh dear. How do I explain?

It...started (as these things do) with a conversation on Discord about how Altmer who'd never seen human ears might react to them, and kinda devolved into "Thalmor trophy-collectors" -- magically preserved, paired and rare ears command high prices and may even be gambled for 🤦‍♀️😬
