LOLOL Funny thing you should say that...

I technically have three.

One belonged originally to my aunt, and it's a little foot-rest that opens up - it's similar to this but not exact:

Currently, I keep my laundry basket on top of it, but inside...are sets of darts.

Then I have two of those kinds that you can fold down if they're empty - one if blue and one is pink - and the top comes off like a lid. Like this:

One of them has letters and cards in it, I think, and a few things like fairy wings to put on my little dog. And not sure what else. The other one has a lot of my action figures and other collectibles that I don't have room for right now (like all of my Marvel Hot Wheels).

No buttons, though. :D

Darsy, this is a cool question!! I, um. I think I’ve learned many niche things over my life so far and I think there will be many more. This one makes me cringe a little, but it’s one of the most recent. I had an ex who was really into fishing and loved sharks, and so….I know a lot about fish and sharks? Only certain ones, and thank goodness that info is fading from my memory bc I don’t use it anymore.

I also know a lot about classic French cuisine? Or just cooking in general? I didn’t watch a lot of tv in my childhood bc all my time was taken up by gymnastics (which is another niche subject area, but that was on purpose that I learned it), but I always recorded food network and picked up way more than I intended to.

I'm crossing my fingers! Well, maybe Stephen can conjure me the PERFECT birthday cake for you? Pretty please?

Oh.my.gooooooooooodness.! You...you...you put my url in a pic next to Stephen's face. That's a thrill all on its own (especially as I can almost hear how it would sound in his smooth, sexy voice; yes, I know it was Tony's line, but obviously I only have ears for my man).

But then a blue butterfly cake!

Brilliant, my dear @darsynia ~ looks sinfully delicious. And I fully appreciate that you & Stephen chose not to add the requisite number of candles because surely they'd have singed the butterflies' wings and melted the frosting into a puddle.🤭

Actually, I think this is kind of how I feel about every new fic I write. I think (hope) I'm always pushing forward and building off what I've already done. For instance, I definitely don't think I could have written Luck Be a Lady a year ago when I started this venture. I think it could only have been written at the exact moment I wrote it. Does that make sense?

But yeah, I've been completely bowled over by the fact that anyone wants to read what I write. So every single interaction has me all 🥹 and just makes me want to write more more more.

Part 1: Sketch: Commission for @darsynia of a chapter to her story about Tony and an OC named Leigh. This piece has been an emotional roller coaster for me since I started it. I enjoyed her description of the situation and the details of Leigh, who I can honestly say I would probably get along well with since I too am from the south. I had a really good time working on this sketch and she was a doll to work with. Half-way through it however, I realized something that made me have to walk away from it. This is the second time I've drawn Tony in a picture I've done for someone else, yet I have yet to venture into drawing him in a picture for myself. I guess…I got a little jealous, heh. I knew that if I tried to work on it like that, it would interfere with how it came out, so I decided that I should take @strangelockd's advice and walk away for a break. And something amazing happened. As I was eating a light dinner - because like @stewardofningishzida, I forget my own health when I work - I decided to sit down on the couch and turn on the tv. Of ALL the things that could have been on in that exact moment, as I was taking a bite of my food, I hear "Yeah? So how did you fix the ice problem?" and I nearly choked on my food. The ORIGINAL Iron Man was on. I sat there, stunned and watched the last fifteen minutes of the movie as I ate my dinner. When Tony said, "I am Iron Man", it felt like I could remember that no matter what, he's still my hero too. I felt like he knew I needed to be reminded of that. So, once I was done with my dinner, I came back in here and finished up the sketch and put some minor background colors in. I'm currently working on the lineart and will have it up tonight. It was meant to go out yesterday, but I fell asleep on my keyboard lol.
