What was Stanford's plan after he gave Stan the journal?
Like, OBIOUSLY he was trying to stop Bill by making sure that nobody could ever operate the portal by making sure the journals were never found (then two of the books hidden were found by pre-teens) but the final book would always be with Stanly.
But after that, what? It's not like the circle, which he presumably found when he found the original summoning circle of Bill would have worked then. He had that gun he failed to use when Weirdmagedon started, but he wouldn't have been able to use it unless Bill had a physical form/ that hadn't been built yet to our knowledge.
He was the only connection Bill had to Earth at the time.
So, how was he planning on making sure Bill never made it back? Make sure Bill didn't possess him anymore? What was the final step in his plan after getting rid of the books?
