The way Letty calls out Dom's name is breaking my heart in a thousand pieces... with those pieces being ripped apart even more... so my heart can never be fixed again because I can't even find all the pieces to put it back together... Oh, and then, above all, Dom comes along, hand in hand with Cipher, and walks all over those tiny pieces of my broken heart to hurt me even more. That's kinda how I'm feeling.

What are your thoughts on the recent rumors that Cipher might have chipped or hypnotized Dom? Do you think those are possible? Frankly, I would hate it if that was the case. After the trailer, it would really just make the most sense to show that Cipher has something on Dom is using it to make him work against his team. The idea of Dom being hypnotized and hurting everyone on purpose just seems completely wrong to me. Although there are some clues in the trailer that could point to it...
No offense, but I think those rumors are absolutely ridiculous. FF is not a sci-fi movie franchise. If they went there I’d be shaking my head the whole damn movie. I know they love to defy the laws of gravity but that’s kind of a trend in action movies, so introducing brainwashing would be insane. I dunno. Never say never.
Cipher asks Dom if he ever thought he was capable of betraying his family in the trailer, so I guess that means he knows what the heck he is doing. I go with Dom is deep undercover and can’t tell anyone and he gotta make it as believable as possible. Or Cipher threatened to kill his family one by one if he doesn’t do whatever she says. There’s gotta be a reason Cipher wants Dom working with/for her. We shall see..

Yep. I’ve said it before I don’t believe Dom is cheating on Letty, but betraying his wife and family is not much better... you know what I mean?
Tbh, while Dom/Letty are one of my favorite ships, I am kind of glad that they are trying to show Dom in a more gray light. I couldn't even watch the last part w/o tears but let's forget that the essence of Dom's character was his own demons-something that I think everyone forget throughout the movies. It bothered me how much of an all knowing father figure Dom had become especially because never actually faced his biggest weaknesses.
I understand what you mean and where you’re coming from because to a certain point I do agree that Dom needs to be taken down a notch. He did sound a bit arrogant in FF7. But we have to agree to disagree. I think Dom’s demons were always there and he has been dealing with them since the first movie - it’s part of his character development. There are also many different ways conflict can be created. They didn’t need to put Letty through hell once again!
I think I’m just really biased because I feel so protective of Letty at this point. Maybe after I watch the movie, I’ll bow down to the writer Chris Morgan, but I really doubt it.

Do you think Dom would be in a dark place since Brian is gone? I feel like Brian is going to have something to do with this. I really think this movie is going to have a great story line! And the title... I don't know why but I kind of like it. Hahaha
Brian and Mia are gone, but on their own terms to raise their own family in peace. I do wonder if Cipher threatens them and that’s why Dom’s got no choice but to do whatever job she wants him to do. There’s gotta be a good reason for this betrayal, so we gotta wait and see what happens on screen.
I gotta admit the title is growing on me... but it still sounds totally ridiculous sometimes... I promise to shut up about it.

oh yeah, cipher is def coming between dom and letty for sure. dude, i don’t get it either. dom finally has everything he has ever wished for and he is a free man on his honeymoon. this whole dark!dom thing came out of nowhere tbh. and i don’t like.
