Felicia came home that day, breathing out a large sigh and leaning against the counter. God, just when she thought the day was done, someone pulled her aside to do another job. These days she felt like she was wearing herself thin, but she knew it was all worth it for Ben.
Picking up a picture of him from the counter, she let her fingertips brush over the frame. A soft smile made its way to her lips. She set it back down and sat on the couch, stretching out a little. Felicia pushed herself up off the couch, running her fingers through her hair and opening up. “Sweetheart, I- Oh.” A grin spread out on her lips and got up to gently kiss him. “Sorry. I'm rewatching Daredevil s2 and that rooftop dialogue totally made me think of the criticism I receive on this blog
Daredevil: You ever doubt yourself, Frank?
The Punisher: Not even for a second.
Daredevil: Really? Really? You never think for one second, "Shit, I just killed a human being."
The Punisher: That's being pretty generous.
Daredevil: A human being who did a lot of stupid shit, maybe even evil, but had one small piece of goodness in him. Maybe just a scrap, Frank, but something. And then you come along, and that one tiny flicker of light gets snuffed out forever.
