yeah... i mean i tried to convey to him that it wasnt actually that impracticalĀ
but like yeah, the actual act of finding a job is scary to me and im already freaking out about it and majorly doubting myself and it was like he put a giant spotlight on one of my biggest insecurities and i feel like crawling under a rock :)

5 - Who or what inspires you?
WOW, every tumblr user I follow. Almost all my inspiration comes from the hundreds of amazing artists I follow (almost 900 blogs). I actually have an influence map but itās quite old by now. Letās seeā¦
Kevin TongĀ (the only one on this list whom I have actually met and I went crazy. He is such a genuinely nice and also incredibly awkward guy),Ā Amei Zhao,Ā Victo Ngai, April Liu,Ā Gawki, Feverworm, Naki, eeermmmm friends like Moo and Melly and Astr frequently astound me with their work, jeez I donāt have a clue. EVERYBODY!
With regards to āwhatā inspires me, itās the same as my influence map. Mostly scenery, architecture, fashion, and colours (bright colours especially). Though recently Iāve found different linework (especially expressive) to be quite influential too. Not that any of it gets into my artwork :((((( sad. Iāll do a proper comprehensive list some time. Sorry this is quite long!
9.Ā Favourite thing to draw
This is gonna sound weird but I love drawing the curve of a spine in particular. Thereās just something about it. Yeaaaaaahhh. I also like drawing eyes, I used to doodle realistic looking, individual eyes all over my school books. It looks pretty weird when I go back on it.
10.Ā Least favourite thing to draw
Oh boy, erm. Anything really, Iām not great at drawing? So anything that comes out badly will be my least favourite thing. I guess the traditional hands and feet thing, Iām terrible. Iām also beyond WORDS terrible at drawing animals, but Iām trying to get better. I actually have avoided drawing them for most of my life because Iām so bad, but you donāt get better by avoiding. Lips/mouths too. Elbows. That kind of stuff.Ā

yes "back in the day".. i'm a black male. i know racism still exists but in regards to the fight we fought, it was done with peace in mind not conquest (for the most part).. And by we, i mean our parents and grandparents.. feel butt-hurt all you want, but there has been a change, and with all change, it takes time.
