i have so many thoughts about quinn and darlin' (spoilers below)
please excuse me as i am bad at explaining my thoughts but I'm gonna do my best lol
i did not think i was going to find quinn this interesting. but he reminded me so much of my own abuser that it's genuinely driving me a little insane. i can't stop thinking about it. about the way quinn works.
i was really unsure how i felt about all of it until the final of the 3 videos with sam. it felt almost like sam was talking to me directly. the way he talked through what happened and explained what exactly quinn did and was doing. it didn't hit me until sam said it out loud. because i was confused why quinn wanted to talk to sam at all, i thought it was because the girl was connected to him somehow. but that wasn't the case at all. quinn wanted to talk to sam because he wanted to know how sam ticked.
quinn wanted to learn sam because he is obsessed with darlin' and pretends he isn't. in my opinion, quinn isn't a coward and quinn isn't afraid to see darlin'. quinn was being honest, he is denying them closure solely to drive them up a wall. he wants the satisfaction of doing to them what they have done to him. quinn wants darlin' to be thinking about him. sam is evidence that darlin' is moving on, and quinn can't stand that. as far as quinn is concerned, darlin' is his. they are his plaything to fuck with as he pleases and they're undoing all of that. and he hates it.
i am so excited for the end of this month to see what else comes from this. i am so curious to know how erik is going to handle the end of this, because so far he has done nothing but subvert my expectations in the best ways.
