Five Gifs to Describe Your Character: Dante Stormbrand
1. Whiskey, a favourite to relax, take some time to think or just have a nice chat over.
2. Hearth and Home, a place it took him a long time to truely find, both phsyically and in his heart.
3. His relationship. The driving force in his life, Jade brings out feirce protective and caring instincts he never knew he had.
4. All that Glitters and Shines. It gets hard to shake those instincts from his early life, and sometimes it’s down to Jade to slap his hand away from grabbing something valuable.
5. Always training, Always improving. Life’s taught him that a fight can be around any corner, and fighting fair usually means fighting to someone elses rules . He makes it his business to be ready to fight with whatever he can grab and pull a victory from it.

I'm not saying Giovanni Boccacio was a fanboy of Dante's but I just found a 400 pages long PDF of texts he has written on Dante and the Commedia so there's that.
I am once again thinking of the time I misspelled Purgatory as “Purgorty” in an outline for an essay on the Divine Comedy and didn’t care enough to change it.

I was pretty much crippled by social anxiety when I started to become more involved in IRL fandom events in 2011, and Dante was the first person to reach out to me to make sure that I felt welcome in the Potter community. He gave me the courage to start speaking up at cons and Wrock shows. All of the fandom friends I’ve made in the past few years, I made thanks to him.
I will always, always be grateful to him.
