'I transported a mass of earth in plastic bags from the hole to the art venue. Dressed in a 1970’s suit and wearing sunglasses I handed out a pamphlet to members of the audience. While an extended version of ‘Macht kaputt was euch kaputt macht!’ by Ton Steine Scherben played loud through a ghettoblaster I poured the earth onto the floor in a defensive wall structure. Then I poured a can of petrol over my head. Mixing the petrol with earth from the hole I made small muddy projectiles which I threw at the audience.'

'I was laying with my back naked in the middle of the room. Ria Pacquée spray-painted a diagonal through the space and over my back. Then she removed the paint from my back with sandpaper. On the floor I wrote: "I don’t belong here".'

'For 11 days I walked around with a safety pin stuck through my left arm without anybody knowing it.'

'I made a metal mask which was fixed to my head. While Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven read a text about willpower, I pulled myself forward with the mask by a rope. The sound of my breathing was electronically amplified through a throat-microphone.'
