like maybe I’m just delusional but I feel like it’s GOTTA be Danny’s cuz how did Henley manage to find a new man, end up pregnant with his baby, and quit the Horsemen in 18 months when they’re SUPPOSED to be in hiding??

like, it’s mathematically possible but feels super improbable. combined with the fact that in Now You Three Me, Henley makes it seem like she heard about Lula joining them onstage (before the kidnapping) was fresh off her leaving. But NYSM2 made it seem like it wasn’t, like, actually within days (“a day and the better half of an evening”)? Like it was recent enough that her absence was a sore subject and Dylan also had to track down Lula

which another thing ☝️ Danny being particularly so sore about Henley being gone always gave the vibe of “unreconciled feelings”, which could’ve just been he never opened up to her about wanting to try again. BUT Jack’s NYSM3 comment of “relax, you had your shot” makes me think the ‘shot’ in question wasn’t about the days when Henley was his assistant, but that they DID have something going on while they were in hiding, but Danny fumbled somehow
