Daniel Albrigo Born 1982 Pomona Ca. The Camera has been Essential to my studio practice of photo based painting and drawing for 15+ years. In the last few years ive rediscovered the importance of the photograph in my personal life. All too often using the photo as reference to produce a painting and deeming the painting more important than the Image itself. More than ever i feel the need to let the photo stand on its own.Â
This body of work includes select landscapes within the United States along side Portraits of Iconic Contemporary Artists. All Photos were taken between 2015-2017 in New York, Colorado and California. 35mm Point and Shoot.Â
