10 YEARS OF THE PHOTOCOPY CLUB SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN!!!!

How to submit your work?

SEND YOUR SUBMISSION TO:

Submit 1-5 images .

Photocopies must be sent by post.

No email submissions.

BxW images only

Printed on a photocopier or large format cheap printer only.

Work can be printed any size up to A0.

Prints must be signed and dated on the back by the artist with name clearly written.

All submissions will be photographed and uploaded online. The list of photographers selected for the exhibition will go up one week before the opening.

By submitting to the project you give the right for your print to be sold for £5. All profits go towards funding the photocopy club and its projects. All rights stay with the artist at all times.

All submissions will be photographed and put on the website but this does not guarantee that the work will be in the show. The show is curated from the submissions sent.

A new photographic poster series from The Photocopy Club

POSTERS

Issue one: FACES

The Photocopy club is calling out for your submissions.

Our new poster series will feature 10 photographs from 10 photographers.

Each issue will be an edition of 100 and released monthly.

The 10 Chosen Photographers will each receive a copy of their featured issue.

For issue one the theme is: FACES

SUBMISSION GUIDELINE

1.Black and White only.

2.Your selected images should be xeroxed (Photocopied) and then scanned.

3.Image size: 7x5in  @ 300dpi

4.Please attach in email -  NO wetransfer of DropBox

5.Please name your files in order: FIRSTNAME_SURNAME_01.JPG -

6.Send 1-5 images via email to [email protected] / Subject: Poster Series Faces

Deadline: 31st of January 2020

If your submission is chosen you will be contacted and asked for your address.

All rights stay with the photographer at all times.

Each photographer will be credited within the issue.

Money raised from each issue will go towards continuing the series.

Who: Daido Moriyama

Where: 63 locations in Shibuya, Tokyo

When: August 2 - 15, 2019 

While Shinjuku might have been a bit more apt, Daido Moriyama’s Greatest Hits are up in and around Shibuya this summer. Paper and Google Maps help viewers locate the work- finding the pictures is a major part of the fun.  It’s a show that’s fitting for the current age in so many ways. 

This being Japan I can only imagine that contacting the owners of the all the walls and buildings these pictures are on must have taken a long time-  not to mention the city-governmental red-tape, as each print has the requisite permission notification attached. 

The photocopy club is opening up it’s submission doors once again for a one night exhibition of XEROX art. This time we are opening the submissions to all types of art, not just photography.

So if you collect found images, draw, paint, take photos or write get it on a photocopier, sign and date the back of it, put it in the post and we will do the rest!
