Sooo... How does everyone feel about toxic one sided yuri between Polaris and Danger.exe?
Polaris is the only one that can bring the danger room to life and the only one that can destroy her, she exists only to get Polaris to reach her full potential and is glad that Polaris is the one that stopped her
people are calling the danger.exe episode filler. its like not, though. like, yes, its not focusing on apocalypse. because its focusing on the school. its focusing on character development, and b plot progression. 'nothing happened this episode', Lorna got development, Charles is coming to terms with Erik's death, the fucking school reopened, X-Corp was founded, X-Factor seem to be targeting the X-Men specifically now, given that Erik is very important in this series the Stryker mention is almost definitely coming back, AND Gambit got horseman'd.
Was it the best episode? no, but it, technically, has more plot progression than Wolvie's episode. its a decent episode. their not all gonna be bangers, and thats ok.

A lot happened in that episode of X-Men '97. A lot. Spoilers below.
I don't think Professor Xavier has the healthiest way of coping with loss, as does the Danger Room apparently.
Cool to see Lorna get some focus. I feel like she's one of several dozen characters that don't get a lot of focus in X-Men media outside of the comics, so I'm glad she had some time to shine. I think it was an overall fair treatment of her character and her as an individual given the episode's runtime and constraints, plus we're definitely going to get to see more of her! Mothing fucking Quinten Quire. I hate the smug little shit. God I love him. ALSO DUST IS HERE! I was so distracted by the little shit that is Quire that I didn't notice her at first. And Beak!
And Danger too! I always forget she exists, happy to see ANOTHER rogue robot/AI in the Marvel universe get some screen time.
I'm honestly glad we're getting to see X-Corp as well, but I am saddened that we seem to be moving away from the '92 ear suits and into the millennium era outfits of the Grant Morrison run. I'm a huge fan of their X-Men run, but the suits? Not so much. Maybe we'll get some Xorn in the future?! Or Legion? So much to look forward to!
