Like any true love, it can drive you insane. But it saddens me to see that ours ended this way. Boys are like lions and girls are their prey. The lion will soon pounce but then just walk away. Love can be intimidating or incredible. It's kind of like Russian Roulette and unknowingly having a gun with an empty barrel. "Nothing is forever" but that's far from the truth. For it felt like lifetimes, every moment I ever spent with you. Looking out to the ocean and hearing those sirens call for me. I sit alone thinking about us, if I hadn't left, what could be. Just know my love that ours was true, and I had never felt a greater love that I did with you. But my heart needed to be free and go out to sea, for where it will take me? I let the sirens calls tell me. Your love is one I'll never rid of for you are ever here, you're haunting me so eerily even when its been years.

Everyone has a past, but that’s just it.. It’s past us, left and gone with no point of ever returning. You can choose to learn from your past, or run from it.

You never think that you and your best friends will ever split apart when you're younger. You guys are so close you wouldn't let it happen you always say. But it happens, it'll start off as one girl made an excuse to not come to the group sleepover, then two people go ghost in the group text, and saddening they're just gone. The girls you would call crying at night because you were on the edge of suicide and they gave you the reason to live by just telling you that they were there for you and would never leave you, are now not picking up their phones. All of the plans each of you made together to be in each others weddings, being each other's god parents to their kids, its all fading away. You're all starting your own new chapters without one another and not looking back. Except for you. Because you still try to text them in the group chat, and call them at night. You've tried countless times to set up a sleepover night again with them but no one answers the phone. You miss them because they were the most important people in your life, and you realize how things change, people change. Life and time doesn't slow down for anyone. It's sometimes best to hold on to the great memories but close that door and move on.
