Happy Thursday!
First off: The album is DONE.Thank the Lord. This means that the college album is done and I have more music to dance too. But more importantly, we all don’t have to hear #SOON
Secondly, my dance classes this semester are giving me bruises that are beyond me. I forgot how much “falling” Modern dance puts me through. To put things nicely, it looks like I have an abusive boyfriend. Then again, ballet destroys my feet. Like almost obliterates them lol.
And to this day, I find this art form to be my greatest teacher.
In fact, it’s taught me to face my fears. Especially the creative ones. To not put a ton of pressure on myself and just do it, ya feel? For the longest time, I let my low confidence get the best of me. I made my shyness as an excuse to not expand myself. And that is not good my friends. Plus I find my best work comes out when I don’t put a bunch of pressure on myself. It just flows and the concepts come together.
Whelp. There’s another rambly post. Nevertheless, I hope you have a great day/night. Love yourselves and stay awesome.

Happy Saturday everyone!
So I made it to California without seeing or driving into a fire. Thank goodness and brownie points for me. I was worried I’d have trouble getting home.
This also means that I’m on Winter break. Yay! In other words, the busiest semester of my college career is over. I can’t tell you how ecstatic I am to write and say that. Then again it’s weird to not say that I have to do homework or study.
But today I’m seeing ABT (The American Ballet Theatre) and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s not the same feelings I have when I see Mars but my love for both is the same. I appreciate the impact they’ve had on my life. Besides veganism, they've led me down this crazy artistic path. One that I seem to discover more about myself every day. Plus I just love seeing live shows in general, ya feel?
Nevertheless, I’m grateful that the Mars album is almost done. Like it’s about time people! It’s safe to say we’ve been waiting for this for a while. Then again it could be Jared messing with us on social media lol.
Other than that, I don’t have any else to tell you guys. I hope ya’ll have a great night/day!
Oh and since I haven’t been posting that much, here’s a video of one of my favorite ballet choreographers (Christopher Wheeldon) work. Hopefully, it makes up for the amount of time that I haven’t posted lol. It’s amazing I promise:

Happy Friday guys!
First off, “Dangerous Night” is amazing! It might be one of my favorite Mars songs of all time. In fact, it sent me on a spree of non-stop dancing. Like for reals.
So many images and feelings came. I added onto choreography that I learned in Modern dance the day before. For some reason, it fits into the phrases of the song. I didn’t have to try. There’s a grounded openness to the song and amazing drumming. Thanks Shannon, you’re the best. Seriously.
But honestly, though he’d be happy to know there’s a live percussionist for my Modern dance class now. I can’t tell you how happy I am about this. Let me tell you, the flashback to drum circle came back hard. The amount that I wanted to get out there and pull Martha Graham moves was unreal. Then again I didn’t want to potentially embarrass myself lol.
The song reminds me of my current boyfriend: dance (that’s no surprise huh?). That sounds weird but it’s true. The reason I say this is because dance is my medicine but also a distraction to a certain degree. I’ve used it as a way to not talk to certain people in my life and ultimately avoid my problems. I believe that’s true for most things when we go too far. Just a food for thought
What have we learned? G loves the new single and can’t stop dancing. That’s not a surprise now, is it?
I hope ya’ll have an awesome day! Thanks for listening to stories from a weird 20-year-old. It’s much appreciated.
So raise your hand, and find me if you really think you need to I'll understand if you leave me but babe, I won't leave you I'm so scared quiet lover, can't keep my voice down Soon the whole world will know I don't do good in crowds So if I panic and I tell you, don't want you around, know I'm lying To you

I haven’t shared with ya’ll what I’ve been dancing to so here you go. It’s a good one I promise.
