Big Awesome Dance Thing
Okay, so in May my troupe puts on a stage show to go along with our workshops. This year, I thought it would be cool to work with a friend of mine and have her play violin for my solo. Now, I thought I'd give her some inspiration and she'd find a cool piece and that would be that. I was wrong - wrong in the best way possible. She isn't finding a cool piece for me - she is composing one! How cool is that? I'm so excited to work with her too. We went to high school together, so I've seen her play many times and I've always been a little in love with how she plays. She's one of those musicians that sways and swirls and swings and basically dances as she plays. She's captivating. Ah, bring on the dance bliss!
