My friend, I am always accepting asks for OC games haha. I’ll answer for Danai (sole survivor) and James (fo4 OC who opposes her) again since they’re two sides of the same coin
Danai wants to atone for her actions in the war and failing those she loved. She remembers a better time when the world wasn’t as destroyed and seeks that tentative peace. Basically she wants to bring about a Shady Sands like civilization to the east coast.
James is simply bored and wants power. At first, it was something that he kind of wanted to do, but after meeting Danai and developing an unhealthy obsession with her, he’s spurred on by two things; making Danai his and gaining the necessary power to do so.

Danai: 28, 5’11, 175 (all muscle), cis woman, Dec 21st (winter solstice), dark brown in one/faded brown in the injured one, orange, dark brown, Danai Akinyemi.
James: 24, 5’6, 140, cis man, he’s not sure, light brown, dark brown, light brown, James. Just James. He’s not sure of his last name either.
30. What is their role in the story?
Danai is the protagonist and hero of the story. A tragic tale of an ex-soldier and mother who was suddenly thrust into an unfamiliar world with horrid adversaries that seek even more destruction.
James is Danai’s foil and the antagonist. What would’ve been a tragic tale of a child brutalized by his family and environment turns sour when he strives to perpetuate the cycle for no other reasons than obsession and boredom.
(He was also created because I love fictional toxic relationships and the aus I make of them ending up together are mwha)
