TW: Blood, death
How could something as beautiful as a wedding end up in tragedy? The young girl had been smiling happily, wishing the married couple nothing more than happiness and love in the future, for the young girl thought that arranged mariages deserved it. She lifted her cup of tea to her lips, looking at her mother’s actions and imitating them to make sure she was following the proper etiquette. Closing her eyes to enjoy the sweet warm taste that came. That was when hell broke loose. Screams and cries reached Deokhye’s ears making her eyes open widely in surprise, looking at her mother for an explanation though her attention was somewhere else making Deokhye look towards there. Blood, that was the first thing the girl saw in the princess making her gasp while a hand covered her mouth, everything seemed to happen in slow motion as her mother pulled her closer to her to shield her from the view but it was useless, as two other men started coughing blood just like the princess making her scared, there were more. Her eyes travelled to her family, they seemed alright but what made her heart drop was that her older brother wasn’t there next to her.
Deohkye started moving around the room, despite the screams of her father to go back to them or the sobs of her mother, how could she go back without knowing anything of Deoksu? There was chaos and people running in all directions, most of them trying to get out while the young woman ran towards the spot she had last seen her dear brother. ‘Please, please be alright’ were the only words that were on her mind, repeating over and over again like a mantra. She had just gotten him back, she wasn’t going to let him get away from her ever again because she was still a little girl who needed her big brother. Deokhye only stopped when he saw him, her eyes quickly scanned him to make sure he was alright, to see that he was unharmed and still with her, he was alright. That’s when her tears finally fell on her pale cheeks from the monstuosity she had seen that day.
