HALLCA and Monari Wakita to perform an Especia medley together at Daikanyama LOOP’s final event
It was announced that Monari Wakita and HALLCA will be performing a special Especia medley together at Daikanyama LOOP’s closing event “HOME ~Thank You “Daikanyama LOOP Last Day”~” on the 31st of May 2021.
A free live stream of the event will be available at 18:00 PM JST on Monday 31 May 2021 on the YouTube page of singer Seira Kariya who is running the event: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC40cNNNHZji_s585NRA2ElQ
The Especia medley will include around 5-6 songs from both the group’s indie era on Tsubasa and their major era on Victor Entertainment.
This will be the first time the founding vocalists of Especia will be performing together since Monari left the group in 2016.
During Especia’s official Twitter Spaces chat, manager Hiromitsu Shimizu revealed that HALLCA was the one who invited Monari to perform with her. Shimizu, along with Seira Kariya and her manager from PUMP! had to formally ask permission from Monari’s label VIVID SOUND.
It was also revealed that Mia Nascimento was also invited to perform together but wasn’t able to respond in time before the deadline.
Daikanyama LOOP has been a meaningful venue for Especia as it opened opportunities for the group to meet friends and collaborators Negicco, and was the reason HallKariMaako exists today.
This legendary comeback event is not to be missed, and is one for the history books!

And I got to perform an Especia Medley together with Mona ❤️ Can’t believe we’re able to sing together again... It doesn’t feel like it’s been 6 years since, yet it's made me realise how long we’ve been together 🌴 I hope that we can get together with everyone else someday 😊🤝 Truly grateful 💋

Daikanyama LOOP’s final day Thank you for everything!! 😭 Got to perform Especia songs together with Haruka-chan for the first time in 5 years✨ Oh, and I danced a bit too (lol) I had so much fun! 😭✨ Today also marks exactly 9 years since both Haruka and I debuted! We’ll continue to share our own music, so please continue to support us ☆
