Daemon is a witty and cunning student. It's said that he can glare at anyone through his monocle and will sentence that student to flunking out of school with a curse. He is particularly adept at both illusion and possession magic. You can tell if he's possessing someone by looking at one of his eyes. 

About the design: Did I make a reference with the owl (mukurou KEK), the cards that trap things inside them (Shimon arc, anyone?), and the spirits near his feet? They represent the different people he used as vessels over the generations. I SAW MY CHANCE. I did my best with the color scheme. Yes, it was my attempt to symbolize the spade in his eye kek.

Ravein is a silent student who only communicates through his bunny familiar that he has a mental link with. He is specialized in dark magic, but he is studying time magic. Rumor has it that he was forced into learning dark magic, but he's trying to learn time magic in order to bring back to life his dead parents.

About the design: Bunny is a throwback to Ravein's origin of where he was made for a bunny-kemonomimi dA rp group... kek. Red clothes, because I'm making a reference to his storm attribute in KHR verse. I don't need to explain the tombstones, yes?

Pino is a student who has mixed descent. On his mother's side of the family, they specialize in barrier magic while on the father's side of the family, they specialize in destruction magic. He is a rather laid-back student who loves taking naps, but he is a force to be reckoned with if you upset him. He's a student at risk of flunking every semester because he quite frankly doesn't care to study. 

About the design: The red color is a reference to storm being his main attribute. The pillow is in reference to how he is very laid-back, liking to take many naps. It isn't seen in his FC icons, but he does like to wear shades because it covers his eyes which are an odd mix of colors depending on what lighting he's in. That was too difficult to portray in the limited color palette, but I can do the shades!

Daemon Name & Form: If parents are the ones to give names to daemons them mine would probably be some lame spanish name like mine :__D Probably Luis or Manuel. Meh. If if depended on ME he would probably be called Alex. Now, about the form.. I’ve been reading stuff and I can’t decide between the three following animals, all of them resonate with me a lot tbh and I discarded a few because of environmental issues, preferences and other things (like polar bears...): Sea Hawk, Gray Fox, Common Palm Civet.

Favorite part of HDM: Loved the second book where you find out about the dagger and “other dimensions” to say it in a way. I read the books LONG TIME AGO so don’t ask me in a bigger depth xD Also, all the parts with the Mulefa, such an interesting society, and I loved Mary Malone’s character too, so.

Favorite character(s): I guess I already said it xD Mary Malone.

Unpopular opinion: I didn’t like Lyra, at all, when I read the first book. I found her annoying, disrespectfull, unpolite, rude, loud,... I don’t know what I would think of her nowadays but I just couldn’t bear her back in the day tbh xD

What got you into HDM: I had to get a book to read from a catalogue we were subscribed to when I was a kid, so I picked the one I found interesting enough. For a change, the covers they chose were BEAUTIFUL.

What are your friend(s)’s daemons and how do yours and theirs interact: I just found out about XI’s and that’s the only one I’ll probably get to know xD We get along okay and we’re pretty much tolerant people so I think they’d be just fine too :)

Preferred fandom size?: Don’t really care because I usually keep to myself and my little corner with a few friends, stay away from any drama. I’m not into fanfic and don’t really go looking for fanart though I enjoy it so... I’m okay with whatever.

John is a perfect human brother, from what Karkat understands about human brothers. He’s brattish, true, but helpful and welcoming, he’s not a total asshole the way the Striders are to each other.

Aiolos, on the other hand — Aiolos who is, from what Karkat understands of daemons, supposed to be a mirror reflection of John — is a total. Fucking. Feathery turd.

He pecks Kulira on her head (and Karkat feels it) and plucks her fur and her quills, and he tries to perch on her long but delicate ears and — and Karkat isn’t sure he should care, at first, because he’s never had a daemon before, humans are weird, the weirdest, and maybe they should be managing it between the two of them with no humans involved beczuse Karkat doesn’t know Kulira and doesn’t even really care about her and fuck that noise.

Aiolos divebombs for the sixth time today and Kulira makes a weird fed-up bunny-snarl, and he has John pinned on his bedroom floor before he can think (Kulira jumping in the air to mule-kick the bird in the chest yess go for it girl!) and his face is in John’s face and he goes very, very quiet when he asks John why, if daemons are supposed to be reflections of their humans, Aiolos is hateflirting so hard with someone John does not want to kiss.
