So what is Ace like in your destiny school au?
The AU idea actually came from @lotus063 so they have ownership over it.
-He acts like Cayde but a bit more mellow
-Has a short attention span
-He has the tendency to walk really fast and talk really fast, especially if he is excited or sad
-Wicked smart, especially in math and engineering
-Really wants to help people and be a hero like his dad
-Loves his dad a whole lot, and adores the other Vanguard and tower people. They all love him too as he really livens the place up
-Energetic kid, so never give him too much sugar
-Sometimes annoys engineers as he’ll go down there and point out errors, and he’s usually right(they get over it though)
-His biggest secret though is he is constantly worried about his dad
-One if his favorite people besides his dad, was Eris and no one is quite sure why

Headcanon: Children of guardians become guardians themselves, likely a ghost can trace the lineage and make their guardian by default. It's rare but the numbers are growing to the point the Consensus wondered to what to do with a solution that the Speaker was against, having the children fight alongside the adults in war which he angrily rejected seeing it as cowardly and vile. After a proposal by Cayde and a calm negotiation with an auto rifle and a pissed off Shaxx, Guardian Schools were made.
That actually is a damn creative and really cool headcanon. That could start a whole thing about Guardians being able to still be connected to their old lives, while having something to fight for, so those kids could look up to them.
Also pissed off Shaxx is the fastest way to get something done.
If that happened though, imagine if Ace was traced from Cayde. He could have seen his son and had something to keep going.
