- the moment he finds out about his s/o being pregnant, he is ecstatic but also absolutely terrified; when he finds out it’s a girl he’s even more terrified??

- he’s never known how to relate to women, he was surprised his s/o had even fallen for him in the first place, how was he supposed to raise a girl?

- when she’s born all fears subside as he just looks at her, enamored with how precious and tiny she looks in her mother’s arms

- he’ll instantly look for traits of the mother, begging for their daughter to be an exact replica of the woman he is so in love with; he’ll find it endearing if his daughter shares any traits with him, just awed at the fact that this is his own child 

- when the mother hands over their child to Rosi, he’s a bit conflicted as he’s worried about his clumsiness of course and he also just feels absolutely unworthy to hold such an angel in his rugged hands 

- nevertheless, he’s handed his daughter and he just sits beside his s/o for support; he can’t stop the dam from breaking as the most adoring, blessed tears flow freely down his cheeks, his face contorted in sheer happiness as he’s crying uncontrollably, but also grinning from ear to ear 

- he holds her like glass, firm but gentle as he’s terrified of ever dropping her, of ever letting her go; swearing silently to himself that he will do everything in his power to make sure no harm ever comes her way

- the baby stage takes a bit of adjusting for Rosi, changing diapers and making bottles for his child are not really his forte (lots of messes); the crying and late nights make him smoke a lil more, but he will always try to be the best for his family’s sake

- absolutely will take advantage of his calm calm fruit when he’s tending to his particularly fussy daughter, especially late at night when his s/o is trying to sleep 

- the mom has tons of pictures of Rosi and their baby napping together, her tiny little body fast asleep along his broad chest with his arm securely around her makes for some absolutely adorable pictures! they all go into the photo album

- definitely the type of father to carry his daughter around in a baby harness and he has no shame about it 

- only his silly faces can make his daughter stop crying; he’s mastered the art of making his daughter laugh with his facial expressions, silly, clumsy movements, and cute little games like peek-a-boo

- when he watches her sleep in her crib or in his arms, he really questions what he ever did to deserve such a blessing in his life, there’s times when insecurities bubble up, but they’re never enough to deter his love for his daughter, in fact they only make him love her more 

- he has his camera ready at all times, eager and prepared to take cute snapshots of his daughter any chance he gets; his recorder is also around for when his daughter takes her first steps!; when he finally records it, the camerawork is honestly so shaky because he is crying so much

- he and the mother have a bet on if she’ll say “mama” or “dada” first and they’re actually pretty competitive about it; Rosi would never let his wife live it down if dada becomes her first word 

- Rosi always has a plan for if his clumsiness were to ever potentially harm his child, an example being she is never allowed to be in the kitchen while he is lol

- by the toddler stage, Rosi begins getting the hang of parenthood more; he always completely understands his child?? even when she speaks absolute gibberish he just understands his daughter’s mannerisms enough to know exactly what she’s saying or wanting

- will always play silly games with her when she wants, including tea parties, princess rescue, fighting monsters, etc. he’s not embarrassed to play any part she asks him to

- also is totally fine with his daughter doing his makeup/him doing hers!

- he loves loves loves to carry his daughter around on his shoulders! the cute little squeals and giggles she makes every time he tosses her up makes his heart melt every single time 

- sending his daughter off to school is another emotional time for him as he can’t handle the fact that she’s growing up so fast, he probably cries even harder than his daughter when they depart at the school doors 

- through the years, his daughter is an absolute daddy’s girl, and he honestly spoils her to death but makes sure to teach her valuable life lessons as well - he is proud of her in anything she does, always the loudest parent at her games/shows/recitals/etc.

- once she becomes interested in dating, ooh boy it is rather interesting/difficult for whoever tries to pursue her as Rosi firmly believes no one will ever be good enough for his little princess; he always asks the strangest questions when he meets her boyfriend/girlfriend, desperately trying to scare them away/test their worth 

- Rosi is a bit sensitive, so once his daughter hits the sassy/rebellious teenage years, he has no clue whatsoever on how to handle her and he gets upset with every snarky comment that leaves her mouth, thinking he is really a shit father 

- he’s a pretty lax dad, not too strict with curfews or friends or appearances like piercings/hair color/clothing, as long as his daughter respects him/honors his trust, he’ll allow her to do whatever within reason; if she breaks his trust he really lets her know how disappointed he is in her and becomes a bit harsh on rules and punishments, all with the best intentions 

- letting her know he is disappointed in her is his key punishment as it honestly kills her every time to hear those words and see that “you really failed me” look

- watching her grow up into a successful woman is all he could ever ask for in life; parenthood was definitely not an easy road for him, but he would be lying if he didn’t love every single second of it; he knew there would be a day when he wouldn’t pick her up into his arms again, so he did his absolute best to cherish every moment he had with her 

- he definitely still gets emotional thinking about how little she used to be and how it was just the three of them against the world; he’ll go through the photo album every now and then with a big smile on his face, his throat clenched as he tries to hold back the tears
