elijah could be as stubborn as they would come. and egotistical, mean, constantly thinking that heâs right about everything which isnât always the case. and if it werenât for his younger brother calling him out on his bullshit, something that did take him by surprise, he would still be thinking that he was right in the argument with cyrus. he knew the words he had said during that day were awful and he shouldnât have treated his own brother like that. he could blame being blinded by the anger, as he often was, but in truth, he shouldnât have allowed things to go as far as hurting the other like that. he wasnât one to apologize. ever. and in the most fights he had with cyrus previously, he waited until his brother would come around but he knew that wouldnât happen this time and that he owed an actual apology. cyrus had been avoiding him like the black plague, which he couldnât blame him for, but thanks to atticus, he knew exactly when heâd be at the studio.
he steps inside as he hears the faint sound of someoneâs voice, mumbling what he assumes are lyrics, until he comes to face the figure of his brother. âhey,â elijah says in a low voice, keeping his distance so to not make cyrus feel cornered. he didnât want the other to think he was there to argue again. âace told me youâd be here. thought i would stop by to see howâs the new stuff cominâ along...â
