@cyborgprojectathena Continued from X
“Yeah…but unlike animals, we aren’t exactly free to sleep whenever we want. Sad truth of the matter…”
Browning snuck a wry chuckle towards that end, hitching her pack up on her shoulders. She hadn’t been around for much time, maybe a few days at best and most of them were spent wandering around like an aimless child through thickets of dirt. Once she found herself in a proper city, she was almost glad to be around more developed buildings instead of the uncaring wild that she had wade through.
Of course, that all comes with its own problems. Vagabonds aren’t exactly a welcomed sight in these developed areas of progress. It was bad enough she saw first hand what had happened to some homeless encampments not too long ago. The last thing this doll wanted was a skirmish with law enforcement considering she’s right now in dire straits. No money, no friends, no future…
Suppose that happens when you get flung into the far reaches of space time without an idea of why this is all happening.
“…Don’t exactly have a place to stay for the time being so I figure I should just continue walking around until I find some place to rest the night…Maybe out in the wilds again…still, would force me to keep walking all the way over there, still~ Heh…nothing in this world comes for free.”
The doll commented, preparing to part away from the cyborg in order to gain some distance from her. She seemed troubled, yes, but she just seemed all the more suspicious. Perhaps it was her look and act not connecting all together or just how content she was to leave that situation all together, but there was something suspicious all together with the blonde. Like she wasn’t telling the entire truth during that entire talk.
