>The Cybercab then whiplash accelerates to max. Disables windows & doors. Aircon stops. Auto initiates a Catastrophic Battery Overload. The Robotaxi heats up incredibly fast. Your seatbelt retracts violently, pinning you down.

>Dashboard Elon maniacally cackles and giggles onscreen while you fry. Your demise is dashcam livestreamed to Elons phone for his amusement. Elon gets quite erect while intently watching. Real hard

>Your cooking is over quickly. Livestream ends as dashcam melts. Elon etches yet another victory line on his bedroom wall, then he kinda jumps for some reason

Tesla macht Ernst und schickt sein visionäres Cybercab auf die Straßen von Austin. Das Besondere: Das Fahrzeug kommt komplett ohne Lenkrad und Pedale aus. Während Elon Musk damit den Markt revolutionieren will, stellt sich die Tech-Welt die Frage: Erleben wir gerade einen historischen Durchbruch oder nur den nächsten cleveren Musk-Hype?

Aktuell rollt die Serienversion des zweisitzigen Robotaxis durch den texanischen Verkehr – gesteuert rein vom Tesla-Autopiloten. Ganz ohne Absicherung geht es aber noch nicht: Auf dem Beifahrersitz fährt ein Ingenieur mit, der im Notfall eingreifen kann. Dass Tesla den Sprung vom Prototypen auf die Straße genau jetzt wagt, ist kein Zufall. Die US-Verkehrssicherheitsbehörde NHTSA plant, noch dieses Jahr die Pflicht für Bremspedale bei vollautonomen Autos abzuschaffen. Eine regulatorische Hürde weniger für Tesla.
