Calling it now- when we get the inevitable (right? RIGHT??) Obduction novels, they'll be those documents that Mayor Josef mentions in his journal but that have been so maddeningly moved to the chambers before you get there. I mean, obviously right? But what I mean is, they've made it easy for themselves this time. For the Myst novels they had to come up with some sort of explanation about how Catherine was actually the author of the trilogy (rather flimsy I thought, given Catherine's usual writing style...), when they decided that all of this was actually tied into our modern-day Earth with URU. But here they've very neatly prepared the slots for the novels to fit into without any clumsy retconning required! So we could have at least one novel that chronicles the early days of Hunrath (when it was still just Hartnellopolis), and at least one that details the history of the Mofang dispute!
