It’s Plots That Should Happen, But Never Will
Tonight’s ramble: Rose Wilson (x)
The CW has already shown us a possible outcome of future Starling City (with Grant Wilson becoming a crime lord). But what if, after the Flashpoint mess, Slade has a daughter instead.
The Legends go to 2030 to stop some catastrophe from happening later on. While there, they run into a young vigilante (doing a horrible job a la Helena) and join forces. They find out that this rogue actually ends up causing a greater disaster because of them.
So they kidnap Rose and take her on the Waverider and leave. She breaks out and they have to track her down in some remote place because she took an essential part of the ship.
They, upon recapturing her, discover that she’s Slade’s daughter and they need her on their side. Sara tries to connect with her because “wlw against deathstroke”. Nate reaches out because daddy issues.
But Rose doesn’t have any of it because they are trying to “fix” her. She doesn’t want to change. She has finally found herself and isn’t losing what she worked for.
She just sits down with a bottle of vodka. She hears someone coming because a minor drinking hard liquor? Absolutely not! But it’s just Mick and he offers her beer too.
Mick takes her under his wing and actually has some character development and an arc. They become inseparable and even after she goes back to her time, he still manages to keep in touch.
