Prompt: “You’re doing it wrong.” - @challengingwords
Pairing: Kihyun x reader
A/N: Since it’s the season, I’m going to share this story as well. Out of all the prompts Chelle and Sem posted, this one screamed at me the loudest.
A/N’s PSA regarding POPD: POPD is a very serious condition. If you or someone you love suffers from POPD, please be understanding during this time of the season. Please remember this condition only flares up once a year. As a person with POPD, I can assure you we turn back to normal after the tree is perfect. 😁😁😁
-----------------------------
It was that dreaded time of the year again. That time where you and Kihyun were guaranteed to ALWAYS butt heads. After all the Christmases spent together, it’s basically become tradition that an argument around the Christmas tree erupts.
“You’re doing it wrong!” you exclaimed looking up at him from the floor beside the boxes of ornaments.
“I am not!” he countered as he continued to hook the ornament on his targeted branch, “It looks fine where it is.”
“No, it doesn’t!” you argued, “You’re putting it too close to an ornament of the same color. It needs to go somewhere else.”
“I’m keeping it where it is,” he said defiantly.
“Fine. I’ll just move it later,” you stated.
You would think he would already be used to your Perfect Ornament Placement Disorder to just do as he is told. Nope. He still does as he wants and you end up fixing the tree after he does his thing with it.
“Why do we do this every year?” he asked you, “Why don’t we just save the argument and have you hang it where you want it to be?”
“Because you’ve got the height advantage,” you answered, “I can fix whatever is within my reach, but I can’t fix the ones you placed on top.”
“Oh, is that so?” Kihyun pondered, “So in reality, I can place all the red ornaments on the top and you can do nothing about it.”
“Don’t you dare, Yoo Kihyun,” you narrowed your eyes at him as he challenged you. He shot you that million dollar smile as he continued to place the ornaments you hand off to him.
He continued to sing along to the Christmas playlist as you handed him ornament after ornament. His phone alerted to a text message. As he was busying himself with answering it, you figured now was the perfect moment.
“Honey, this one needs to go in that place right in front of you,” you instructed as you handed him a special ornament.
As he was answering the text with one hand and accepting the ornament in the other, he placed it right where you instructed him to. When his eyes met the ornament he just placed, he was greeted with a pregnancy test adorned with Christmas ribbon and a note that read “Merry Christmas, Appa”. In shock, he alternated staring at the ornament and at you sitting on the floor busying yourself with the next ornament to place with a smirk on your face.
“Are you serious!” he exclaimed in excitement as he carefully tackled you to the floor and attacked you with kisses as you nodded and giggled confirming you were with child. “This is the best Christmas present ever!”
He lowered himself to your belly and started to sing to your unborn child. You smiled and looked up at the tree. You couldn’t picture a better moment. But then...
“Kihyun,” you interrupted him, “You need to fix that one over there.”

Having gotten out of work early, Porsche wanted to surprise you. Quietly unlocking the door, he snuck in. To his surprise, you were only in your sports bra and boxers, trying to dance. You continuously messed up as Porsche watched secretly, amused.
"You're doing it wrong." He stepped in, chuckling as he wrapped his arms around you.
You jumped, startled at his sudden appearance. You didn't expect to see him until four this evening. You though you could work on the anniversary gift you prepared for him.
"When did you get here?" You turned to face him.
"When you were failing at my rap lines terribly." He smiled, cupping your cheeks in his palms.
You pouted and he let out a weak whimper, unable to hold in his feelings. You were just too adorable.
"Here, let me help you." He took your hands, turning you around.
Your back against his chest. You smiled, letting body loose to follow his lead.
"Did you know you were so sexy especially on this part?" You blushed.
"Swing your hips side to side." He replied with a hint of a smile on his lips.
You did as you were told which ended up with him bursting out laughing. Anniyed, you turn to push him away.
"I suck." You whined.
"You're trying, you're trying." He comforted you, grabbing your hands.
Placing his fingers between yours, Porsche pressed his forehead to yours.
"You are so adorable when you are mad." He whispered, "I love you."
You smiled, gently pressing your lips to his.
"I love you too."
"I know, but back to learning the dance moves so you do not embarrass yourself later tonight." Porsche demanded.
He nudged you back to your original spot. You tried the best you can. It was miserable.
"What'a the point, you already saw me at my worst." You complained.
"I want the world to only see the best of you," he came to stand beside you, "only I can see your bad side."
You smiled seeing how much he loved you, but your smile didn't last long.
"You're still doing it wrong."
Annoyed, you jumped onto him, wrapping your legs around his waist. He caught you, trying to keep stable.
"You know something that I did right though?" You questioned, "loving you."
"Don't change the subject just to get out of your own preparations." Porsche grinned knowingly.
