Summary - just hc of driver liking you before you even starting talking

Warning!! - stalking-ish idk, I hc driver has having a bad time socialising just my opinion!, driver yearning you

- driver instantly knew you were new he had never seen your face before he memorise most of the people in the apartment even though he never spoke to any of them. You stood at his door introducing yourself as the new neighbour at apartment 105. He was silent just nodding to whatever you were saying not even a facial expression or awkward smile.

- After a awkward moment of just you talking saying how “if you need anything just to ask” because your happy to help driver just nods and shut the door in your face, you think he hates you or that you annoyed him but in reality he could feel his burn up and his hands shaking of nervous

- After the first 2 week you start to introduce yourself to more people but he starts to feel tense about it. Not angry exactly…. But his jaw starts to tightens he doesn’t like it even though you two don’t even talk and he probably made a first bad impression with you. He won’t admit but he jealous that the other neighbours can hold a conversation and he can’t with you.

- So he practices conversations with you while driving alone. Like entire fake scenarios where he actually says the right thing and makes you laugh instead of standing there silent like usual. For example him asking you out for coffee or dinner and you actually saying yes while he acts chill knowing what to say instead of going cold. Or you two hanging out driving around the city at night talking about life.

- He wants to see you more and more so Driver starts timing his grocery trips around yours. He pretends he “just got there” to himself so he doesn’t feel like a creep but he’s been sitting in the car psyching himself up for ten minutes, telling himself that he should just go up and talk to you again ask how your day was maybe ask if you need a hand with your groceries but fails.

- When he driving late at night trying to clear his head he’ll put the radio on and when a song comes on he starts to think of you like trying and make the song about you in anyway possible, he’ll close his eyes and think about you, your voice, your eyes, your hands.. until he suddenly interrupted by a car almost crashing into him.

- Driver absolutely keeps small things you accidentally leave behind. A hair tie forgotten in the laundry room. A receipt with your handwriting on it. He stares at them longer than he should before guiltily putting them away. Even though he doesn’t have the words for you he still enjoys having a small part of you around maybe he gets the courage to talk to you one day..

Poor guy.. 🪽💗
