Brief Synopsis: You were initially recruited by SHIELD just shy of your nineteenth birthday, when Nick Fury noticed you beat the shit out of a man who tried to pick-pocket you. Fury had approached you, claiming that he could take your talents and put them into a good use.

Not really taking into account what you would be signing up for, and terribly bored, you agreed without a second thought. Over the next several years, you befriended Phil Coulson and Maria Hill. You respected them as your superiors, yet they viewed you as an equal.

You were introduced to Hawkeye when you were assigned his partner for an assignment in Shanghai. During the mission, something went wrong and Barton found you bleeding profusely from a stab wound to the stomach.

Unable to help yourself, you developed feelings for the man mending your wounds. And kissed him as a gift of your gratitude.
