The magazine stand at the front of Quality Quidditch Supplies was enough of a distraction that Julian didn’t look too wistful. It looked much less sad when he was reading about the pros and cons of the latest Firebolt. He tried to remember if last month’s edition had something on the Nimbus or if he was just getting that mixed up when he was looking to do repairs on his broom.

Julian wasn’t planning on purchasing anything. He didn’t have practice anymore and most of his equipment wasn’t in bad shape enough to actually replace. The last time he had come see a broom specialist was when he was starting to be overwhelmed during the exhibition matches, but since that hadn’t helped—

His train of thought was interrupted by the turn of the page, which seemed to flip on its own—had it not been for the person passing rather closely to the shop that Julian looked up, half-wondering if they were also interested in that month’s edition of Flight.
