I bought a freezer from my local Curry’s store today, having already done some research on the internet.  The internet price was £216.99, but the instore price was £57 lower at £159.99.  I also benefited from the advice of the staff who offered a five year extended warranty for the price of a three year one.

It won’t always save money to this extent, but buying instore was clearly the right decision today.

Incidentally, extended warranties are sometimes very good value for money.  However, you only get the full benefit if you have an efficient diary system as you won’t be reminded about claiming your benefits.
