VS Grown-Up Cuphead Boss Fight - Phase 3 Concept 🔥 I've been cooking this piece for two whole days and it's finally done! 🔥
Inspired by the recent Cuphead announcement featuring the adult Muppet-style Cuphead as announcer (which officially confirmed the grown-up design), I couldn't resist imagining him as a full-on boss. This illustration represents Phase 3 of an epic "VS Adult Cuphead" boss fight.
Picture intense bullet-hell chaos with all the classic Cuphead attacks we know and love — but way more aggressive and cinematic. I bet this version would be an absolute nightmare to beat 👀

Cuphea hybrida (Mexican cigar plant, var: ‘Fuente’ and ‘Cristo’)
Every year we buy a Mexican cigar plant for our resident Anna’s hummingbird “Arnie”. It is said that hummingbirds like the color red, so last year we bought a white and a red plant to test this hypothesis. Sure enough, Arnie ignored the white Cuphea and preferred the red one.
This year we bought a red Cuphea and a purple one. We’ve put both plants side by side and Arnie still seems to go for the red one. I’ve only seen Arnie twice this year and as any statistician will tell you, you need a minimum of three points of data to establish a trend line. It’s too early to say which plant will win the race but if the purple one is a no-hitter, I’ll buy two red Cupheas next summer.
