During the events of Don't Deal With The Devil, Bambi was concerned as she didn't want to let Cuphead and Mugman take The Root Pack. She was desperate, and she had to do something about it. A plant demon in the form of a small elf appeared to her, and he offered her a deal, if Bambi gave him her health, he won't let taking The Root Pack (obviously he was not going to fulfill the deal). Bambi accepted and the goblin clung to her right leg, causing him to lose her funtion and gradually deteriorating Bambi's health. When the cupbors released the debtors, Bambi believed it was because of the goblin. Goopy met her by chance and fell in love at first sight with her, so he offered to take care of her.
Bambi's leg was filled with roots and she had to use a walking stick. Some time later, Ms Chalice was struck by a strange vibe in the Root Pack garden, after she learned that it was the fault of the demon that Bambi had, she and her brothers decided to face the goblin, although he was already too strong for the health that he had stolen from Bambi, but with Goopy's help they managed to stop him. Goopy felt displaced, since Bambi now that he was well no longer needed his help, but Bambi would always need him, and since then they are together
