Louloudi is part of a clan of dryads, ents, and alraunes, called the "Gaia clan". The clan lived in a beautiful, giant paradise located in a hidden city in Greece. This clan was pure green magic.

Eden and its people prospered thanks to the sacred fountain made entirely of lapis lazuli, a fountain that produced pure, holy water on its own, thanks to a powerful enchanted jewel made of pure mana: A larimar. This fountain not only nourished Eden, but was the source of life for it and its inhabitants; the fountain was used to create more inhabitants using the seeds.

The clan was prosperous, however, everything changed with the arrival of Lou Jitsu (Hamato Yoshi). Being such a kind and resilient clan, they welcomed this "legend." With his charisma and eloquence, Lou jitsu's stay was quite well received; he was loved and cherished by everyone in the clan as a fighter and a great artist. However, Lou justu was in the clan for a reason: he managed to steal the larimar and escape.

By stealing the larimar, the fountain stopped producing this sacred water, and with this, he condemned the entire Gaia Clan. Lou justu didn't know the consequences of stealing the larimar, but he didn't really care. Eden was drying up at an alarming rate, and without the source of sacred water, no more inhabitants could be born for the clan.

By the time the villagers realized the larimar had been stolen, Lou Jitsu had already escaped. The Gaia clan swore revenge on Lou Jitsu, his family, and his descendants. For over 40 years they remained like this. Eden dried up rapidly, losing its beauty and its ecosystem dying. Only a very small part of Eden remains alive, thanks to the green magic of the green wizards and the inhabitants who stay there, refusing to let it die.

Years later (during the events of Farewell AU), by a twist of fate, the inhabitants learned of the turtles' existence in New York. So they sent two warriors to kidnap them and put them on trial before Clan Gaia. They sent Louloudi and another dryad to find them. At first, they gained their trust so they would lower their guard. However, Lou was already starting to grow fond of them, realizing that they were unaware of what Loujitsu had done.

However, when the charade was exposed, Lou had them put on trial. During the trial, the turtles learned the whole truth about Lou Jitsu and the theft of the larimar. This sparked a heated argument between the brothers about their perception of Splinter; they refused to believe it was true, but it was. However, Lou, seeing this reaction from the brothers, got them a deal: they had to return the larimar within a limited time, and in return they would be free of guilt and burdens.

The brothers agreed, but unfortunately they didn't know where to start. After some research, Donnie discovered that the larimar was now in Big Mama's possession. The plan was simple: steal it from Big Mama and return it to the clan. The mission wasn't easy, but (I don't yet have the specific details to write about), the brothers managed to steal it from Big Mama. They rushed back to Eden, as time was running out before they could be sentenced. Unfortunately, due to their characteristic carelessness, they broke the larimar, causing a crack. This unleashed the fury of the Gaia clan. Raph, in complete denial, refused to accept what they had done and tried to force the larimar back onto the pedestal in the fountain, which only made things worse. When he placed the damaged larimar in the fountain, the fountain itself also shattered.

Now they had not only lost the larimar, but their only source of life had perished; the Gaia clan and Eden were doomed. It was the end of Eden. This obviously earned the Hamato family the complete condemnation of the entire Gaia clan. The clan wanted to sacrifice them; however, Lou, who had grown fond of them and could not abide injustice, and who was also influenced by Draxum (whom she had also grown fond of), decided to betray her clan and save the brothers, deserting the clan forever.

Lou was obviously hurt by losing the place where she was born, while the brothers were depressed, having to acknowledge that Splinter wasn't the heroic person they had idealized. Lou had lost her home, and the brothers were increasingly losing sight of their father, but in return, they gained another member of the family, and she gained a new family to belong to.

Her species is an Alraune (yokai)

Her species tends to have the form of a person in their 30s, since they don't age and therefore don't die from it. However, Lou appears to be in her 70s.

Dryads & alraunes parts can regenerate infinitely, and they can grow to three times their size.

Although they cannot die of old age, they are not considered inmortals. For a new alraune/dryad to be born into the Gea clan, they would take a flower bud and throw it into the fountain, letting the water cover it. With the sacred water, the bud would transform into a new alraune, dryad, or ent. These beings are born with some awareness of their surroundings, and although they are born somewhat small (about the size of a 13-year-old child), with the development of their magic and the nutrients from their environment, they grow very quickly.

They possess a seed in the center of their chest, which is the source of all their power; burning/destroying this seed means permanent death for the Plant folk. Damaging it's enough to cause a slow death. Even if the body is destroyed, as long as the seed remains intact, it can be planted, and after a short time, the Alraune can emerge again intact.

Their seed is pure green magic, so they also possess healing abilities, purifications, or even the ability to absorb other magic (in fact, this is what they have been using to keep a small part of Eden alive).

Thanks to this, Louloudi has had the role of Healer/doctor in the family currently

Louloudi's personality is stoic and steadfast; she rarely raises her voice or loses her composure. This lends the team an aura of authority, maturity, and calm. It gives the turtles the impression of a very wise and respectable woman.

Louloudi is currently in a serious relationship with Draxum. Their connection developed gradually, but we'd say Draxum was the first to fall for her quickly. She finds it appealing that Draxum has a certain appreciation for nature. So that aura of a wise, "elderly" woman is even more present in the turtles.

Among Louloudi's abilities, besides her green magic, is the ability to deform her body. She can transform into roots, brambles, vines, or thorns. If she finds herself in fertile ground where grass can grow, she will use the soil's nutrients to increase her size up to three times, and also, if she wishes, transform into her full Alraune form, which is much more dangerous and versatile.

It has a camouflage clasp that allows it to walk among humans, again squeezing a woman in her 30s-40s

In her human form, when living with others, she presents herself as an "Ethiopian" person, evidently due to her place of origin: Greece.

Fun facts about next-gen:

She finds other life forms, including humans, extremely interesting. So she showed particular interest in April's pregnancy and conception. It might seem reckless, but since she's unfamiliar with all of that, she found it beautiful to learn of this "miracle of life" (same when Lita was born).

In this time skip, Louloudi and Draxum are engaged, but for much longer than she thought. They've been engaged for 15 years because Draxum isn't ready to take the next step and get married (he's a little afraid of marriage). Louloudi isn't too bothered by it; she's gotten used to it. (But they will eventually get married.)

Louloudi is a grandmother to Lita. She often looked after her when Leo wanted to rest. She always told Lita that she looked like a "little peony," and in fact, she calls her that, which is another reason why it's Lita's favorite flower.

Despite having no experience with other species, Lou learned a lot to properly care for Lita when she was a baby.
