As I said, I tweaked Lita's design a bit because I'm going to give her a nimpo just like her mother's (hydrokinesis). The point is that, although her ribbon was iconic and served as a sort of personal signature, incorporating powers into it would fit better with the plot and her fighting style—which, as we know, is based on body expression, rhythmic gymnastics, and ballet.
To explain a bit: now that she no longer has her signature ribbon, she can control water, though she is still in the process of learning new techniques and expanding her abilities with her own ninpo. Her belt holds two water bottles; these were crafted by her grandfather Draxum and are, consequently, magical. Each bottle can hold up to three gallons of water. They serve as a reserve for when there is no water readily available in her surroundings for combat, making them very useful.
I'll explain their abilities later, but for now, that's what matters.

Lol, the dramatic AUs are really good, especially the ones involving an apocalypse. I really liked that dynamic in the movie; it made it mature and kept it from being just a comedy.

Water control
Megara's power is the ability to control water (Aquakinesis/Hydrokinesis).
Mastering water is one of the rarest and most difficult gifts. That's why she was trained from birth to master this ability. And consequently, she was born with a superior mana capacity to wield it.
Her mastery of water allows her to solidify it at will (without turning it into ice)
By moving large bodies of water, allows her to cut through solid objects/structures, mold earth/clay/mud with water, or even move heavy structures or materials. This ability is both destructive and constructive.
She can even steal water from other living beings, snatching it from their bodies in a rather unpleasant and painful way. She can either dehydrate them, or simply kill them through this process
She can also create water bullets that impact at high speeds. This ability is also dangerous, as depending on the force she uses to fire the water bullet, it can stun or even break bones or cause internal bleeding. In extreme cases, it can pierce through bodies and tear them apart. But again, this depends on the force she uses.
Controlling water also allows her to create bubbles. Not ordinary bubbles, but water bubbles. On land, she can create water bubbles. She can place them on their heads or their entire bodies, creating a prison from which they cannot escape, slowly and desperately drowning them. She can also create an air bubble underwater to help those who are drowning or unable to swim to breathe.
Megara can also heat or boil water, but only in minimal quantities; she couldn't boil a lake even if she wanted to. The maximum amount of water she can boil is an average-sized bathtub.
she also has healing abilities. It can use the properties of water (as infusions, or mixed with medicines) to heal superficial wounds. This also allows her to perform stomach pumping.
Cryogenics
By controlling water, she can also control cryogenics, which includes creating frost, freezing, cooling, or melting water. She cannot create ice from nothing; water must be present to achieve this.
She can make ice gauntlets (for close combat) or ice darts.
The more water she uses, the thicker the ice she creates, allowing her to use it as shields or for defense.
With cryogenics, she can create an ice breath and freeze the surrounding area within the reach of the water vapor.
She can also create snow or frost using water or humidity from the air.
Technically, she can use all 3 states of water (solids, liquids, and gases). So she can use boiling water vapor as a defense.
An update on Megara's powers. I limited them quite a bit, but for the sake of the plot. Also, as I mentioned, I'm going to rewrite Lita's powers. Plus, I'm still working on the other characters' abilities.
