It took FOREVER for me to finally read this beauty but my god when I did I fell head over heels with Lou 😍 Witches, magic, mystery and a LOTTTT of sass and snarkiness? YOU'RE RIGHT! THAT'S TOTALLY UP MY ALLEY 😆❤ Lou is a witch and a sarcastic QUEEN 😂 Reid is an enforcement officer for the Christian ruling authority... Whom obviously despise witches... In a strange twist of events the two ends up married to avoid controversy at the hands of a run in that Lou schemed to make him look bad and get herself to safety... Even if it slightly back fired 😂 The ensuing story follows both characters on their adventures together and separately and with plenty of action and hilarity (I LOVE THE HUMOR IN THIS!) I found myself captivated 😍 It take a little while to build into a story I was actually heavily invested in and I was kind of just casually enjoying it but the minute both Lou and Reid's worlds and clashing upbringings and socio-political thoughts came into play I was enamored 😍 Because I took so long to read it means I only had to wait a few kinda for the sequel! WOOHOOO 😂😂😂 With a certain plot twist at the end I'm SOOO excited for Blood and Honey and as soon as @bellusoddities announced she was doing a drinkware package and mini box for this... Well lets say she's actually the reason I read this book cause I loved the design of her cup (SWIPE TO SEE) so I read the book... Finished it VERY quickly and then upgraded my order immediately 😂😂😂😂 cause I need as much merch as possible for this wonderful series 💫 Sales have closed for the Serpent and Dove drinkware package (I was ranting about it in my stories when it was on sale! 🙈) but it's almost time for the goodies to be finalized and shipped out to us so I'm LOSINGGG MY MIND 😁 Like usual if you ever did LOVEVa drinkware package design Bellusoddities often allows for the design to be recreated as a custom! QOTD: If you could get any fandom in tumbler form what would you get?🤷 Going back to a dark theme for a few pics cause I've got a few darker reads coming up that I'll be reviewing and ALSO cause Stephanie Meyer announced she's releasing Midnight Sun.... ANOTHER Twilight book! 😱 It's apparently Twilight from Edward's perspective so R-Pats is not gonna be happy about this 🤣 I'm also currently in the throes of addiction to the Dark Maji series 😈 I started listening to Fortune Favors The Cruel and was instantly HOOKED 🔥 Imagine a mix between ACOTAR and Nevernight 🙈 but a heavier dose of darkness and a VERY snarky VERYYYY strong female lead 👌 We all know Nevernight is my fave series (hence my beautiful @bellusoddities tumbler pictured!)with ADSOM, Venatrix Chronicles and Grishaverse but the way this is going Dark Maji is SERIOUSLY coming up! 🙈 like I'm obsessed 😍 like dye my hair lilac to be like Quinn....like imagining designs to get a Dark Maji tumbler.... Which is the number one sign of obsession. 😂 By now I think people have picked up I'm obsessed with my bookish tumblers 😆 it's cause I drink so much tea and need ways to have it in bulk and have it HOT 🔥🔥🔥 My Nevernight tumbler is with me DAILY and I've got a batch of goodies coming thru soon too!
