Are we having fun?
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett is terrific in a groundbreaking role - playing a gay Black action hero with emotive depth and terrific presence. Arterton is miscast and mis-written; in fact, the heist scenario never really compels outside of its on-screen moments, culminating in an underwhelming reveal. But otherwise and from moment to moment, this is a gripping thriller with a lead worth caring about.
